About Us

The Fireworkers are a family business based in East Yorkshire established in 2009 by Steve & Sally Bates from a real passion for Fireworks combined with outstanding customer service. Alongside our highly experienced team of firers and crew, we design and produce top quality displays to client specifications.

With design and quality at the forefront of our business, we take pride in offering the very best Retail and Trade Fireworks at the very best price locally – our quality products are the cheapest but best available! A Friendly Knowledgeable Service is guaranteed at The Fireworkers, and we pride ourselves on our approachable attitude focusing on clients own budgets and preference to provide a really positive, enjoyable shopping experience!

We are a true family business with three generations all working within our shop or assisting with display design to being out setting up our displays, our firing teams, shop assistants and delivery drivers have worked with us for many years, they are all highly trained, friendly, experienced and are capable of the smallest to the largest public displays of 10,000+ people. We perform hundreds of displays every year safely and successfully.

We are excited every year to enhance our range of Retail Fireworks to include new and exciting new effects, we have a HUGE range of products available from major suppliers who we feel offer the very best value and performance.

We use many of the products ourselves so can confidently recommend suitable Fireworks for your show! Our suppliers are unique to us in East Yorkshire and we have a strong business relationship with all of them established over many years, we are so passionate about our service that you may need to allow a little time when you visit us!

Our team have an extensive portfolio of clients who rebook us year after year for their events, and an excellent reputation for high quality displays.

We have performed displays for the Rod Stewart Concert in Hull, Southport British Musical Firework Championships, Large Corporate Clients, Large Bonfire Events, Fire Festivals, Proms Events, Weddings and Stately Homes in sensitive, heritage locations, as well as working internationally alongside our colleagues in Malta for the International Fireworks Festival and celebration events in Valletta.

In 2021 we competed successfully at the British Firework Championships in Plymouth and we are constantly working towards major large scale displays, we have also been part of the nominated team honoured with a REYTA Tourism Award in East Yorkshire for Flamborough Fire Festival, which is a great example of our specialism in start up displays, our enthusiasm, design skills and dedication to the event alongside our clients ensures high quality and profitable events for everyone to enjoy.
